A low-level earthquake jolted parts of Pakistan at about 01:50 Pm (local time) on Sunday.
Local media reports that the tremor of the quake was felt in Malakand Division and other areas.
Strength of the earthquake is recorded 2.6 on Richter scale with its epicenter being the Besham mountain range with a depth of 10 km.
There is no immediate report of possible casualties or damages but it did spread panic in the areas where it
was felt and made people go out of their homes, offices or other work places.
This comes a day after a powerful earthquake jolted parts of Pakistan including its capital Islamabad and other cities including Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Lahore. The quake which’s epicenter was in northern Afghanistan also jolted Kashmir and New Delhi.
US Geological Survey (USGS) said strength of the quake was 5.3 on the Richter scale but Pakistani media reported its strength being 5.8 magnitudes.
